more than a studio.

Right Mind Creative was built to create something Omaha was missing - not just a place to record, but a platform for artists to grow.

A space where talent isn’t just captured, but connected, developed, and pushed forward.

meet the founder.

Ryan (Roo) Vandergriend’s journey in music began early - writing songs at just five years old and sitting in on studio sessions by the age of eleven. Over the past 15 years, he has continued to refine his craft, working both independently and alongside local and national artists.

What led to the creation of Right Mind Creative was a clear gap in Omaha’s creative scene - a lack of professional, reliable support for artists, despite the abundance of talent in the area. Driven by both frustration and belief in that untapped potential, Roo set out to build something different.

His approach is rooted in understanding that no two artists are the same. Rather than forcing a formula, he works closely with each individual to help them discover what works best for them - guiding, refining, and developing their sound in a way that feels authentic.

Beyond the music itself, Roo’s goal is for every artist to leave feeling accomplished, inspired, and confident in their path. With the right mindset, consistency, and commitment, building a real career in music isn’t unrealistic - it’s achievable.

why it matters.

Creating music is personal. It’s vulnerable. And too often, artists are put into environments that feel rushed, transactional, or uninspired.

Right Mind Creative was built to be the opposite of that.

This is a space where you can take your time, explore your sound, and create without pressure - while still being pushed to get the best out of yourself. Where you’re not just another session on the schedule, but an artist with something worth developing.

Because at the end of the day, the goal isn’t just to record music - it’s to help you become better, more confident, and more connected to your craft.
